PECAN PIE

1/4 cup butter.
1&1/4- cup dark brown sugar
3/4- cup light corn syrup.
3- eggs.
1-teaspoon vanilla.
Dash of salt.
1-cup chopped pecans.
1-unbaked pastry shell.

Combine all ingredients until well blended.
Pour into pastry shell.
bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
